Celebrate Cindo de Mayo with a benefit for Young Life (Vida Joven) fundraiser - a Cinco de Mayo Party - at Shrimp Park (Benito Juarez and Blvd Freemont) between 4:00-9:00 pm on Saturday, May 4. The theme is a Mexican County Fair which will include some of your favorite restaurant vendors, games, raffles, and silent auction. All funds raised from this event will benefit Young Life of Puerto Penasco.

Rocky Point Triathalon at las Palomas this weekend March 31st

Back for the 7th year in a row, Las Palomas on Sandy Beach is host to the Rocky Point Triathalon. Over 600 athletes are expected to attend. For those participating in the event, there will be free food and drinks. If you want to just participate in the food and drinks you only need to purchase a ticket for $20. Every year the number of athletes grows and are looking forward to making this the most sucessful year yet. If you are planning on attending there is a great opportunity to donate clothing or parishable foods. The event is sure to be a lot of fun.

Taste Of Penasco Iron Chef Competition. Feb. 11th

The Rocky point food bank was founded by Pastor Ernesto as a way to give back to the community and help those in more difficult times. The food bank is in need of donations more than ever before. Every donation will go a long way and is greatly appreciated. Please feel free to email us and we can help arrange a pickup or donations can be sent to Family of God Christian Fellowship.
